  • – A North Carolina-based company has expanded their organization by reclaiming a previously closed log home sales center in Saugerties, which will be providing new jobs to the area.
eLogHomes, one of the nations leading manufacturers of log home packages and materials, based In Middlesex, N.C. announced in April the purchase of the sale center here.
The sale center will have four log homes on display for the public in the coming months. The company is expecting to create several jobs that include log home sales representatives, sales manager, and administrative personnel. eLogHomes will be conducting interviews, beginning on Friday April 13th, and will have the log home sale center fully staffed with sales representatives and a receptionist to answer immediate questions in the next few months. Applicants can visit the career page on eLogHomes.com for more information.
“When selecting eastern New York as a location for our sale center, eLogHomes chose to reclaim and restore a pre-existing facility, rather than clearing and developing forest or farm lands,” said Michael Wild, eLogHomes information officer.
The purchase of the sale center visible from Interstate 87 continues the company principle of maintaining the smallest possible imprint on our environment. eLogHomes reclaiming the log home center will also bring back hourly, commissioned and salaried jobs to the area that disappeared when the previous owners closed the facility in late 2008.
“The company attributes a large part of their success to extensive cost-savings initiatives, as well as our innovative website and good old fashioned hard work”, said Wild. “To remain competitive in today’s evolving markets, small businesses must learn to evolve as well”.
