As widely known, in recognition of the 200th Anniversary of Saugerties to take place in 2011, the Saugerties Historical Society is planning to produce the game called ‘Saugertopoly’.
This is a concept, based on the popular board game,’ Monopoly’, The money raised by acquiring sponsors pays for the production of the game and any money taken in by the sale of the game goes to the Society.
The Society is reaching out to local businesses, families and individuals to support them by sponsoring a space on the game board. At this time, there are still a number of patron spaces available, By contributing $50, your name will be listed on the game board. This is a great way to honor the 200th Anniversary of our town and village while supporting the Saugerties Historical Society.
The Saugertopoly Committee consists of Mark Smith, Diana Buchan, Mery Rosado and Marge Block.
