Yoga Nidra can improve well- being by: eliminating stress, lowering blood pressure, reducing anxiety and more! Julianne Dow will lead this free class on Thursday, July 19th from 6-7 pm in the library’s community room.
BUTTERFLIES AND DRAGONFLIES WALK
Steve Chovas will take you on a guided tour of the Esopus Bend Nature Preserve to learn about the area’s butterflies and dragonflies. Meet in the Simmons Plaza parking lot near the credit union to car pool to the entrance on Apple Tree Drive on Saturday, July 21st at 9 am. Wear sneakers!

There are four weekly story times scheduled. Tuesdays at 11 am pre -school children ages 3 to 6 years old are invited to share stories, songs, finger plays and felt board fun. Two lap-sit story times especially for children ages 1 to 3 take place on Thursdays at 11:15 am and Fridays at 10:30 am. Children ages 4-7 are invited to the library on Saturdays at 12:30 pm for stories and a craft. Early literacy is an important part of a child’s growth. All are welcome to drop in. No registration required.
