Squash, broccoli and green beans roll in to the Saugerties Farmers Market this Saturday, June 30, from 10 am to 2 pm at 115 Main Street.  Look for cucumbers, fresh herbs, plus peaches and cherries. Come early, as supply of some crops is limited.
Local favorite Doug arcus will be crooning with his stand-up bass, from 11 am.  Enjoy his lively music in the market cafe, along with all kinds of baked goods, including gluten-free; free-range chili, shaved ice sundaes, and fresh orchard fruits. Check out the hand-pies and quiche from Me Oh My Pies; local mushrooms and Lenny B's smoked trout at the Mangia Bene Farm stand. Plus fresh cheeses, local maple syrup, wines and more.
Last chance to pick up distinctive flowers from Cedar Ridge Nursery; they'll return in the fall with cooler plantings.   Look for rainbow turquoise jewelry from Grandma Sallie, next to a full range of jellies, relishes and pickles from Grey Mouse Farm.
Children can make floral prints with Art Lab this week.
