KINGSTON, NY (June 2012) - First Niagara Bank recently celebrated the grand opening of its new branch at 101 Kings Mall Court in Kingston with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Town of Ulster officials. First Niagara Bank N.A.’s conversion of Upstate New York and Connecticut branches from HSBC Bank USA, N.A. was officially completed May 21, with the bank opening up more than 100 former HSBC branches as First Niagara branches. The bank now has 26 branches in the Hudson Valley from Ulster to Westchester Counties. The other First Niagara Bank branches in Westchester are located in Bedford Hills, Ossining and Yorktown Heights. First Niagara added more than 1,200 employees, including more than 250 in the Hudson Valley, and more than 500,000 new customers across New York and Connecticut.
