Nicholas Jacobson, 84, of Morse Road, Saugerties, died Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Kingston City Hospital. Born September 1, 1927 in Tallinn, Estonia, he was the son of the late Maria and Woldemar Jacobson. He was employed for many years as a painting contractor. Predeceased by his wife, Lottie in 1998, survivors include one son, Peter K. Jacobson of Saugerties, one daughter, Doris Jacobson of Munich, Germany, four grandchildren, Jarrod, Devyn Jacobson of Saugerties and Andreas Haaser and Nina Merz both of Germany. Daughter in law, Sandi Jacobson, brother in law, Freddy Ebell of New Paltz, two great grandchildren, Louisa and Jonas Merz also survive. Predeceased by a brother, Woldemar Jacobson. His Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home.
