Olivia Rose Belfiglio, 17, of Saugerties, NY, died Friday, June 4, 2010. She was born November 29, 1992 in Rhinebeck, NY. She is the beloved daughter of Carl Belfiglio of Port Ewen and Dale Winchester of Saugerties.
She was a Junior at Kingston High School until recently when she moved to Saugerties and attended Saugerties High School.
Olivia was an aspiring artist and enjoyed drawing, painting and photography. She was a member of the Town of Esopus Environmental Board, St. James United Methodist Church and the Kingston High School Girls Varsity Cross Country Team. She enjoyed snowboarding with her many friends from KHS. Olivia was free spirited, enthusiastic and known for her contagious laughter.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her brother August Carl Belfiglio of Staatsburg. Her Grandparents John and Lola Kohke of Galloway, NJ, stepfather Larry Winchester of Saugerties, a dear friend John McCarthy of Malden and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is predeceased by her grandparents Anthony and Josephine Belfiglio and an uncle Gary Kohke.
Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, where the funeral procession formed on Wednesday June 9th and proceeded to St. James United Methodist Church where a funeral service was held.
Burial followed in Hurley Cemetery, Hurley, NY
