Denzel M. Francis died Monday June 4, 2012 in Saugerties. He was 21 years old.
Born January 18, 1991 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Jennifer Francis Bynum and Moses Liburd.
A 2009 graduate of Saugerties High School, Denzel attended Columbia Greene Community College. As an avid basketball player, he played for both schools as well as the Kingston Basketball League.
Survivors include his mother, Jennifer Bynum and her husband Eric; his father, Moses Liburd and his wife Jessica Matos; his three brothers, Tristan Francis, Dondre Francis, and Justin Liburd; his maternal grandparents, Helen and Emmanuel Francis; his uncle, George Francis; and several cousins.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 8, 2012 at Buono Funeral Service, cremation will take place at the convenience of the family.
