The Saugerties Elks Lodge #2574 is proud to announce that we have three $500 scholarship awards to give to graduating high school students.
The first is the Bob Garrison Memorial Scholarship, which is donated by the Saugerties Elks Adopt-A-Soldier program. This scholarship is open to any student (Elk member of non-member) who has or had a family member in the military.
The second and third are the Stacy Stralka and Grace “Chickie” Curtis Memorial scholarships. These are available to all graduating students (Elk Member of non-member).
Scholarship applications are available at the Saugerties Elks Lodge which is located on Rt 32, Saugerties or by calling scholarship chairman Al Brooks Jr (PER) at 845-338-246 (home) or 845-389-9215 (cell phone).
All scholarship applications must be returned to the Lodge or to me by May 31, 2012. The scholarships will be awarded on Flag Day, June 14, 2012 at the Saugerties Elks Lodge.
