Columbia-Greene Community College will hold summer sports camps for children
ages 8 through 17 at the Greenport campus, starting July 9 and running
through mid-August.
Baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, tennis, golf, volleyball and field
hockey will be offered. Each camp runs a half-day daily for one week.
Baseball, basketball and softball are now divided up into two age groups,
and will have morning and afternoon sessions.
Each camp includes individual coaching, low student-to-coach ratio, highly
qualified staff and up-to-date techniques. Participants will be assigned to
supervised groups according to ability and age.
Each camp costs $95 per child. A physical is required as part of the
application process.
